Obituary for Alison Anne Keleher (Vozzolo)

Alison Anne (Vozzolo) Keleher, beloved wife of Barry Keleher, passed quietly from this life on Monday, April 18, 2016 at her home. She was 46 years old. As a child, Alison lived in Aruba, Scotland (UK), and Houston, TX before spending her high school years in Windsor Locks, CT where she graduated with honors from Windsor Locks High School. Alison’s love of children led her to become a licensed, home daycare provider in Enfield for several years before relocating to Stafford Springs with her husband and children where she was employed by Worker’s Federal Credit Union. Alison was an accomplished equestrian and her other passions included music, art, and dance. She was fortunate enough to see her beloved Red Sox win 3 World Series and she especially loved cheering for Dustin Pedroia. Nothing made her laugh harder than watching her favorite comedian, Bill Burr, perform. She is predeceased by her father, Lester Vozzolo who was her rock and, even after his passing in 2002, continued to be her inspiration. She was also predeceased by her sister Carol L. (Vozzolo) Cariseo who passed in 2012. Besides her husband, she is survived by her three children who she adored; Jacquelyn May Keleher, Conor Patrick Keleher, and Bridget Anne Keleher; her Mother Beverly (Herrick) Vozzolo; three brothers, Michael Vozzolo, Daniel Vozzolo, and Dean Vozzolo; two sisters, Susan Bayliss, and Diane Vozzolo; five nephews, Justin, Timothy, Christopher, Matthew, and Austin; and five nieces; Cherish, Siobhain, Tara, Isabella, and Angelina; and three cats, Sheba-cookie, Booger, and Eleven. It was Alison’s adamant wish that no services be held. Please remember Alison every time you hear someone laugh uncontrollably Keysay, wallay, phonay, my Angel. I will always remember.
