George Edward Piepul, 66, of East Windsor and husband of the late Patricia (Foley) Piepul, passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday, May 11, 2016. George was born October 1, 1949, in Springfield, MA the son of Agnes (Rogers) Piepul Morton of Panama Beach City Beach, FL and the late Edward Piepul. George was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing on his boat with his late wife, Patricia. He retired from Twin Manufacturing Company in South Windsor after many years as a master machinist. George is survived by three children, Daniel Piepul and his wife, Lisa of Enfield; Amy LaFerriere of FL and Pamela Joyce of Hamden, MA; two sisters, JoAnn Usher and her husband, Dennis of Enfield and Janet Piepul of Panama City Beach, FL; four grandchildren Ashley and Chase Piepul and Autumn and Connor Joyce; two step-grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Jarrod Wenz and Justus Barcomb; a special friend, LaVerne A Nordstrom; two step-daughters, Dawn and Deb Hanecak and several nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Friday, May 20, 2016, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 south Rd., Enfield. Graveside services for George will be celebrated on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 10 am in St. Mary's Cemetery on Spring St., Windsor Locks.
