Obituary for Bernice Wadsworth

Bernice Wadsworth, 89, of Gilsum, New Hampshire formerly of Windsor
Locks, beloved wife of the late George Wadsworth passed away
peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2016, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 16, 1926, in Suffield, CT. She lived in
Windsor Locks for many years before moving to Gilsum in 1977. Bernice
was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is
survived by her six children, George Wadsworth of Gilsum, NH, Arthur
Wadsworth of Southington, CT, Bob Wadsworth of Nelson, NH, Walter
Wadsworth of Englewood, FL, Cindy Griffin of Gilsum, NH and Amy
Wadsworth of Nashville, TN; seven grandchildren, Tammy Sue
Wadsworth-Danforth, Daniel Wadsworth, David Wadsworth, Jennifer
Wadsworth-LaFleur and her husband Phil, Nicole C. Peichert, Joseph L.
Gilman III, and Louis G. Gilman; nine great-grandchildren; a sister
Francis Babiarz and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her
husband George, she was predeceased by her mother Mary (Noga)
Urbanowski, two children, Daniel "Doctor" Wadsworth and Brian
Wadsworth, a grandson Timothy Alan Wadsworth and three brothers and
four sisters. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling
hours on Friday, July 1, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the
Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. A
funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial
will follow in Springdale Cemetery, East Windsor. Memorial donations
in Bernice's memory may be made to Gilsum Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 183,
