Anna M. Jackson, 90, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of the late David
R. Jackson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 07, 2016 at the
Hebrew Health Care Center, West Hartford. She was born on December 27,
1925, in Philadelphia, PA a daughter of the late James and Marie
(McCloskey) Domanico. Anna was a resident of Windsor Locks for over
fifty years. She was a faithful communicant of St. Mary Church where
she was involved in many groups especially the small Christian
community groups. She volunteered as a cook at the Immaculate
Conception Shelter in Hartford for many years. Anna was a devoted
homemaker always caring for her family and her home. She enjoyed
cooking, hosting friends and family, and holiday gatherings. She is
survived by two children Anne F. LaRussa of Windsor Locks and James J.
Jackson and his wife Diane of Franklin, MA; four grandchildren, Andrea
Pfaffenbichler and her husband Todd, Jessica Hogan and her husband
Jason, Caroline Jackson, and Sarah Jackson; and four great
grandchildren, Emily, Noah, and Grace Pfaffenbichler and Liam Hogan.
In addition to her husband David she was predeceased by her five
siblings. Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours
on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Windsor Locks
Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. A funeral
procession will gather on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. for a
Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary
Church, 42 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. Burial will follow in St.
Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial donations in Anna’s memory may be made to
St. Mary Church, 42 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. For
