Marlene J.  Twitchell
Marlene J. (Ledoux) Twitchell, 62, of Enfield, CT passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family after a courageous fight with cancer. Marlene was born September 25, 1954, in Hartford, CT the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary Lou (Wells) Ledoux. She was employed with Kennametal in Windsor for over 10 years and Connecticut Light & Power as a customer service representative. Marlene was crafty and enjoyed sewing. She also loved listening to music and "Dancing like no one was watching." She cherished her three sons and her granddaughter and loved spending time on the beach combing the beach for treasures. Marlene was optimistic and loved life and family. She will be deeply missed and remembered for her quick wit, sense of humor and unconditional love. She is survived by her three sons, Kyle K. Twitchell of Ellington, Corey M. Twitchell and his wife, Erica of Blackburgs, VA and Adam W. Twitchell of Broad Brook; her beloved granddaughter, Arianna J. Twitchell; two sisters, Mary Lou Andrews of Kakankee, IL and Cheryl Rosa of Enfield; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Marlene was predeceased by high school sweetheart and husband of 30 years, Randall "Randy" Twitchell Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Sunday, October 23, 2016, from 2 pm to 5:30 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd. A celebration of life service will begin at 5:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
