Obituary for Ethel M. Morin (Moselsky)

Ethel (Moselsky) Morin, 98, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017 at Johnson Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore Morin who passed away in 1994 after 60 years of marriage. She was born in Hartford, CT moving to Windsor Locks in 1950 to raise their family. She was the daughter of the late Jacob Moselsky and Viola Keirstead of Windsor Locks, CT. She retired from a career as an inspector at Stanadyne Corp. in Windsor, CT. She spent winters with her beloved husband in Myrtle beach SC for many years. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren and being surrounded by her family. She loved music, shopping, going to shows, dinner, and the casino. She will always be remembered singing “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’”, reminding us “This too shall Pass” and for her unconditional love. She is predeceased by her son Alan Morin of Windsor Locks, her grandson Kevin Eastwood of Windsor, her sister Evelyn Navaroli, her brothers Raymond Moselsky and Arthur Moselsky of Windsor Locks, Roland Moselsky of Southington and son in-law Richard Pendleton of Enfield. She is survived by her brother Henry Moselsky of Windsor Locks, her daughter Donna Morin Pendleton, of Enfield, her sons Theodore Morin and his wife Jane of Florida, Ronald Morin and his wife Sandra of Windsor Locks, and Keith Morin and his wife Frances of Windsor Locks, her grandchildren Ralph Eastwood Jr and wife Emilia of Windsor Locks, David Eastwood of Suffield, Lori Johnson of Granby, Steven Morin and wife Kathleen of Florida, Kym Morin Stotts and husband Michael of Colorado, Rudaina Nickerson and husband Nick of Oregon, Heidi Gilleland and husband Gerald from Virginia and Jessica Morin from Glastonbury, ten great-grandchildren, niece Deborah Boguslofsky of Windsor Locks along with many other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 9-11:00 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service celebrating Ethel's life will be held at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial following at Grove Cemetery in Windsor Locks.
