Barbara J. (Flint) Squires, 86, of Enfield loving wife of the late William E. Squires passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare. Barbara was born in Hartford, CT and was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Cronin) Flint. Barbara was an avid fan of UCONN Women's Basketball and the New York Yankees. She dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Barbara is survived by her five children: Deborah Casey (Tom) of Monroe, NC, Timothy Squires (Bob) of Myrtle Beach, SC, , Brian Squires (Carolyn) of Wethersfield, CT, Sue Lusardi (Tom) of Enfield, CT, Mark Squires (Andrea) of Vernon, CT and Daniel Squires of Windsor Locks, CT; her four grandchildren; Jody, Liberty, Lisa, and Trent; her six great-grandchildren, Jesse, Samantha, Trinity, Faith Shealyn, and Jordyn; a great-great granddaughter, Kobie and several sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by four brothers and six sisters. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A celebration of life service for Barbara will follow the visiting hours at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
