Charles E. "Red"  Swift .
Charles "Red" E. Swift, 75, of Manchester, beloved husband of June (Reinman) Swift, entered into eternal peace Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Red was born and raised in Hartford and had lived in Manchester for over 40 years. He was employed for the former Puralator Transportation and retired as Transportation Manager after 17 years. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Besides his wife June, he is survived by a son Michael Swift of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert, and two sisters, Susan LaFrance and Sophie Clark. Services are private and will be held at the family's convenience. Donations in Red's memory may be made to any charity of the donor's choice.
