Matthew J.  Murzyn
Matthew J. Murzyn, 43, of Enfield, CT loving husband of 14 years to Kathy (Koneski) Murzyn passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Hartford Hospital. Matthew was born July 30, 1973, he was the son of Peter and Carol (Zolnowski) Murzyn of West Suffield. He was a graduate of Suffield High School Class of 1991 and graduated in 1995 from the University of Hartford where he received his BSA in Economics. Matthew loved animals of all kinds especially his two dogs, Abbey "Sweet pea" and Alex and his cat, Pebbles. He loved being by the water, tending to his herb garden and cooking. He was employed with Fiserv, Inc. in Glastonbury for several years as Business Analyst. In addition to his wife, Kathy he is also survived by a brother, Michael Murzyn and his wife, Jennifer of West Bloomfield, MI; two sisters, Debbie Somma and her husband, Patrick of Chattanooga, TN and Kimberly Murzyn of West Suffield; his mother-in-law. Lana Koneski of Enfield and a brother-in-law, Michael Koneski and his wife, Melissa of Windsor; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Matthew was predeceased by a brother, Paul Murzyn. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Sunday, December 4, 2016, from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial for Matthew will be celebrated on Monday, December 5, 2016, at 10 am at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. Please meet at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
