Condolence: Patti, Your mother was a lovely lady, fiercely devoted to your father. I wonder if you know that Andree, while she was living in Hartford and teaching for a while at the Oak Hill School for the Blind, used to visit your father when he worked at Travelers. His office was at street level, and he could be seen (though, of course, not by Andree) from the street. So she would stand on the street and beat on the widow, waving and flashing her world-conquering smile. He would always come out and talk and walk with her. So sad. But Dotti is in a good place now. May God send you pleasant memories of your mom to console you in your grief.
