Michael F. Kilty III
Michael F. Kilty III, 68, of Windsor Locks, son of Michael F. Kilty Jr. and Dorothy (King) Kilty, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Michael was raised in Windsor Locks and graduated from Windsor Locks High School class of 1966. He was a lifelong resident of the community. He enjoyed sports, notably Little League Farm teams and had a lifelong interest in the New York Yankees as well as the New York Giants. He didn't like Boston teams. He was very intelligent and often corrected his family through his comments. Michael was not inclined toward the business world and spent most of his life at home with his parents, whom he deeply loved and assisted them in the later years at home. His parents loved Michael very dearly and mourn his loss. Besides his parents, Michael is survived by a brother Daniel Kilty and his partner Charlene Luzey Enfield; a sister, Colleen Forsyth and her husband Michael of Enfield and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Dennis Kilty, and a sister, Debra Kilty Villone. Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Sunday March 26, 2017 at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Family and friends may gather at 9:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home for a procession to St. Mary Church in Windsor Locks for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
