Obituary for Angela Opito (DiProto)

Angela Opito, 59, of Enfield, beloved wife of Thomas Opito for 15 years, entered into eternal peace, Thursday March 23, 2017 at Hartford Hospital. The daughter of the late Angelo and Salvatrice (Rossitto) DiProto, Angela was born and raised in Hartford. She lived in Enfield for 18 years and was employed for Konica Minolta for 21 years. She was a gifted cook and brought many smiles to the table from the delicious food she made. She also enjoyed crafts, travelling, and spending time with her family. Angela was a true animal lover. besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Michael Flores and a future daughter-in-law Jennifer Bell of Glendale, AZ, and Timothy Flores of Enfield; a brother, Paul DiProto and his partner Janice Vancour of Windsor Locks; an Aunt Joan Rossitto; a cousin Kevin Rossitto; and mother-in-law, Lorraine Opito. Visitation hours will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday March 30, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels. Committal will follow at St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery in Enfield.
