Peter J. Sullivan, Jr., 40, of Hartford, formerly of Windsor Locks, died June 14, 2018, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Peter, or PJ, as he was affectionately called by his family, was born June 11, 1978, in Hartford, CT. Peter was the loving son of Deborah (Whitaker) Sullivan of Granby and Peter J. Sullivan, Sr. of Hartford. He attended local schools in Windsor Locks and was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School Class of 1997. Peter attended Asnuntuck Community College and Central Connecticut State University. He was an avid reader and spent countless hours at the library. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Heather Siegel, her husband, Perry and their children, Morgan and Noah of Granby; his maternal grandmother, Helen Whitaker of Avon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Peter’s family would like to send a special thank you to Alba Martinez and Stephanie Boyce for all their help, care, and compassion they have shown to Peter over the last several years. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
