Condolence From: Don Stacom
Condolence: My condolences to Ron's family and friends. I got to know him as a good man, and a deeply honorable police officer. He'd seen a lot in a tough career, but remained an intensely humane, personable and thoughtful man - a most noble achievement. Don Stacom

Condolence From: Thomas Pyrcz
Condolence: Sue, Ron, Chris, and Shelley, Our deepest sympathies on your loss which is actually a loss for us all. We all go back a long way together and will always have some very fond memories, especially that "unique" laugh of his that had me jump a few times when I didn't know he was standing right behind me. You are all in our prayers.
Tom & Lynn Pyrcz and Lynn's mom Roberta.

Condolence From: Mark Keller
Condolence: Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Chief Ronald Marcotte. I first met Ronald Marcoote when he was a capatin in 1986 as an Enfield Police Explorer. His quick wit and logic made him a great leader and mentor. His inclusion of Post 820 in the EMS training of the Enfield Police Department led to my eventual career choice of paramedic.
Thank you Chief Marcotte for your service and rest in peace, for the lives you have touched have assured your legacy.

Sincerely,
Mark Keller and Family

Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."

Condolence: My Dear Sue,
My heart goes out to you and your family. A husband and father is a precious gift and when he is taken from you, this loss is greater than your heart can bear.It can never be measured. Please know that I am thinking of you and you are in my prayers.
I pray for God's compassionate healing on you as you go through this sad time. We do not understand "why" when we suffer such a great loss as this in our lives, but our faith teaches us that one day each of us will be reunited in heaven. In His peace is our strength.

Condolence: Dear Sue, so sorry for the lost of your husband. He was a nice man and a good friend of my husband Larry growing up. We will keep you and your family in our prayers at this most difficult time. He was happy when Mr Bailey and I stopped in to see him at the nursing home. May the lord be with you and your family. Love, Larry and Sandy.

Condolence From: Beth Bania
Condolence: Sue, I am so sorry for you and the family. Ron was an incredible guy. I came to know him through my work with the prisons and him sitting in on Committee meetings. He was calm, smart, strong, funny, and a fully professional police officer (no wonder, now that I see his educational background) who was VERY proud of his wife becoming a nurse. I pray God sends the Holy Spirit to be in you, through you, and around the whole family as you travel through this loss. Amen.
